Neil has been with PFS since November of 2010. He achieved the Certified Financial Planner designation in August of 2018 and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation in July 2019. Neil also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant designation conferred in July of 2021. Born in the Midwest, Neil has been in Colorado since 1987, making him ALMOST a native. Raised in Colorado Springs, Neil moved to Boulder to study at the University of Colorado and earned his bachelor's degree in Astro-physical and Planetary Sciences and a Certificate in Applied Business from the Leeds School of Business. As a student and upon graduating, he worked in the Education and Public Outreach department at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. All the while, he maintained a service position at Outback Steakhouse.
He also studied fine arts and maintains a ceramics studio with his wife in their home. He spends most of his time outside the office with his wife, Kendra, and their two children. When they can, they enjoy snowboarding and playing soccer. They also enjoy cooking, although they find it hard to make extravagant meals while providing the attention required of their beautiful kiddos.
Within the office, Neil acts as a primary contact for client planning and service needs, business processing, data management, and investment research. Service is an important part of his life and he finds true enjoyment helping clients with what matters most in their lives. Neil's ultimate goal is to provide a level of continuity to client plans as the older generation of advisors reach retirement so that clients can count on a consistent path toward their goals throughout their lives.
