John was born in Scranton Pa, the third of four children, however has called Colorado Springs home for the better part of his life. He received his BS in business from Colorado State University in Fort Collins in 2006
John’s hobbies include fishing, hockey, golf, traveling when possible, watching copious amounts of sports and movies, and most of all spending time with wife Amy and 3 children, Molly, Cora, and Jack. John attended high school with his wife Amy, however they did not begin dating until college, and eventually married in 2008. Persistence paid off! His favorite teams include the Denver Broncos, NY Rangers, Notre Dame football and anything CSU Rams!
John and his family have been clients of PFS since 2017. They have been friends with Neil and Kendra for decades, and over the years their families have grown closer; best of all, the kiddos are friends as well. The Burnetts and Markses love spending their free time together, from camping trips and birthday parties, to lazy summer days at the pool.
Previous career stops include various sales positions, as well as a 10-year tenure in the mortgage industry, primarily as a loan officer. After so many years in the financial services industry, he chose to join PFS the challenge of working in an arena with a much more diverse array of financial instruments as well as the opportunity to serve PFS clients and families in their financial journeys.
